Our Plating Process
Plating on metal the process starts by removing paint and/or old chrome plating from The base materials by using electro-strip, chemicals and industrial paint removers. ALUMINUM plating is remove using nitric acid. Potmetal and Steel old plating is remove using reverse plating.

Prepping Metal for Plating: All custom chrome plating on metal require a polished mirror finish prior to nickel plating and chrome. If Copper is applied as a base coat the copper will also nee to be mirror polished
